Ardmore, Oklahoma-based Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation Board of Trustees has named Bill Buckner as president and CEO, effective January 16. Buckner will succeed Michael Cawley, who is retiring. Buckner joins from Bayer’s Canadian subsidiary Bayer CropScience, where he was president and CEO.
He has also been CropLife America chairman, and has worked with Commerce BankShares and Johnson and Johnson’s animal health subsidiary Pitman-Moore. He is on the foundation board of the National Wild Turkey Federation, on the Passage Home board and the North Carolina Agriculture Biotechnology Center steering committee.
