Deutsche Bank has named Richard Settle as chief risk officer of its direct securities services (DSS) business, Fundamentals reports. Settle will be responsible for managing all risk aspects for the DSS business, including credit risk. He is joining Deutsche from Citi, where he was head of the credit risk management function for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) banks and European brokers and dealers. The DSS unit offers custody services, securities clearing, domestic fund services and agency securities lending.
