Credit Suisse’s global head of commodities, Adam Knight, has left the firm, Reuters reports. Knight had helped create an alliance in metals and derivatives trading between Credit Suisse and commodities trader, Glencore International.
Prior to joining the Swiss bank in 2007, he was working with Goldman Sachs as head of global metals trading. Credit Suisse has hired 100 people for its commodities business since 2007 and planned to add another 100 in 2010.
