State Street has appointed Charles Cooper as senior managing director of its eExchange derivatives program. Based in New York, he will work under Clifford Lewis, executive vice president and head of the eExchange business, which offers advanced trading solutions for foreign exchange, futures, U.S. treasuries and the subscription and redemption of money market funds and exchange-traded funds. Most recently, Cooper worked at Deutsche Bank in London as global head of legal operations in the risk management division. Before joining Deutsche, Cooper worked for more than two years as COO and chief of staff at the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
