Nikko Asset Management has been appointed as the actual investment manager for a mutual fund for Greater China. Kwok-On Fung, head of the China Fund Management Team will be the portfolio manager of the NYSE listed fund.
Nikko AM will offer proprietary research, portfolio management services and help market the fund to U.S. investors through U.S. financial intermediaries. Shareholders have also approved the conversion of the fund from a closed-end investment company to an open-end investment company.
