Compliance and strategic advisory firm Treliant Risk Advisors has named Waldo Abbot as general manager and head of the company’s New York office. He will be responsible for improving the firm’s services to hedge funds, broker dealers and international financial institutions active in the U.S. Abbot joins from BNP Paribas Fortis, where he was CEO. He has also held senior positions at JPMorgan Chase & Co., Royal Bank of Canada and RBC Americas.
