Australian Unity has appointed Simon Reed as its new national adviser solutions manager, Financial Standard reports. In the newly created position, Reed will be responsible for developing processes, tools and systems to assist advisers and dealer groups with their clients.

Prior to this, he was associated with Russell Investments, Zurich Investments, Citibank, Westpac and NatWest Bank. Additionally, the fund manager has hired Fabian Cockle as business development manager for Victoria and Tasmania.
