Nomura has appointed Steve Ashley to head of global rates and foreign exchange, FX Week reports. In his new role, he will relocate from Tokyo to London.

Ashley will continue to work under Tarun Jotwani, head of global capital markets. Ashley joined Nomura in May 2010 from Royal Bank of Scotland.
