Société Générale Securities Services (SGSS) has promoted Bruno Prigent from the position of deputy head to head from Sept. 30, 2011. He will also be joining the executive committee of the private banking, global investment management and services division as well as the general management committee of Societe Generale.
In the new role, he will work under Jacques Ripoll, head of the division. Prigent will succeed Alain Closier, who will leave the group by next October. Prigent is Chairman of the surveillance committee of EURO-VL and Chairman of SGSS Italy.
