Barclays Wealth has hired Asha Mathen as director of private client group (PCG) in Chennai, India, Business Standard reports. She will manage a team of private bankers covering Tamil Nadu and be responsible for the development and bottom line of this market sector.
Mathen will report to Mumbai-based managing director Vishal Jain. Previously, Mathen has worked with the Reserve Bank of India, ICICI Bank and Deutsche Bank.
