State Street has appointed Craig Butterworth as head of fixed income sales for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) to expand its business. Based in London, Butterworth will report to the head of fixed income rates for EMEA, Jon Thoresen, and global head of fixed income sales, Peter Turk.

Most recently, Butterworth worked at Royal Bank of Scotland as managing director, head of flow rates sales, U.K. funds and hedge funds. He has also worked within the fixed income U.K. fund sales unit of Goldman Sachs.
