Towers Watson has combined its three investment research teams into one unit, Financial News reports. Craig Baker, who is head of the manager research team, will additionally manage the new merger at the investment consultant.
In his new role, Baker will head 150 investment professionals constituting the three groups. The manager researcher team comprises 100 members, while there are 20 executives helping clients with hedge fund selection. A 30 strong team handles private equity, hedge funds and infrastructure.
