Global investment management firm Henderson Global Investors has recruited Michael Samuel as an asset manager (AM) for its £1.3 billion North American property unit. Based in Chicago, he will be in charge of the current management of operations, value enhancement and dispositions of a portfolio of North American fund and separate account assets.
Most recently, Samuel was a senior associate and loan officer with real estate investment firm Pearlmark Real Estate Partners, previously known as Transwestern Investment Co. At Pearlmark, he handled the asset management of commercial real estate mezzanine loans on behalf of a number of institutional investment funds.
