Hugh Brown has been recruited by Netherlands-based clearing house European Multilateral Clearing Facility (EMCF) as director of U.K. markets, Finextra reports. He will be working under Jan Booij, CEO of EMCF.
Based in London, Brown will handle the company’s relationships with U.K-based. platforms and customers, interact with regulators and industry bodies and build EMCF’s strategy and position on industry issues. Most recently, he was associated with London Stock Exchange Group, where he handled trading, post trading and regulatory strategy.
