Private equity firm Duet India has appointed Saurabh Sonthalia as country head, Economic Times reports. Sonthalia was previously serving at Bank of America Merrill Lynch as head of global capital markets. Prior to that, he served at AIG Global Asset Management as CEO. Duet India is a unit of London-based global alternative asset management Duet Group, which manages nearly $2.4 billion of equity as of January 2011.
