JP Morgan Chase has appointed James Woolery as co-head of North American mergers and acquisitions (M&A), The Wall Street Journal reports. Woolery will join the bank on Feb. 7, 2011, from law firm Cravath Swaine & Moore. Woolery will lead the M&A team with co-head, Christopher Ventresca. The previous co-head of North American M&A, Jeffrey Stute, has been named as head of JP Morgan’s North American health-care coverage group.
