Madison-based State of Wisconsin Investment Board (SWIB) has recruited investment advisers Wilshire Associates and Cutter Associates and re-appointed Strategic Investment Solutions (SIS) and NEPC, Pensions & Investments reports. Wilshire and NEPC will help the board, which manages $79.9 billion in funds, in looking for and choosing managers. Wilshire will additionally be responsible for manager monitoring services.
Independent investment consultant NEPC will help with special projects. Cutter will help research and pick a service to improve portfolio analytics, management of information and data of real estate portfolios. SIS was re-appointed for manager recruitment, asset allocation and benchmarking consulting services. SWIB is responsible for managing the assets of the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS), the State Investment Fund (SIF) and other state trust funds.
