Newcomer Bob Leung lands in second place in this sector, which was created when we split Financials into Banks and Insurance. The Deutsche Bank analyst initiated coverage of AIA Group in December with a buy rating, on its strong earnings growth and diversified customer base. The Hong Kong–based commercial and retail insurer, which also offers wealth-management services, was trading at HK$22.55; by the end of April, the stock had risen 16.4 percent, to HK$26.25, and outdistanced the sector by 28.7 percentage points. Leung “has tons of experience and is able to impart complex information clearly and compellingly,” observes one loyalist.
