Cheevers & Co. has announced the appointment of Ryan Peterson. He is joining the Chicago, Illinois–based agency-only brokerage as chief compliance officer.

Peterson will be responsible for heading the brokerage’s compliance staff, which handles risk management parameters and monitors the firm’s trading activities. He joins Cheevers from Fox River Execution Technology, a broker-dealer that provides algorithmic trading technology and execution solutions, where he held the same position.
