Skrill, which operates a European digital payments platform under the Moneybookers brand, is seeking to raise €200 million through an initial public offering, Financial Times reports. The listing on the London Stock Exchange will help boost the group’s profile as well as provide funding for growth. In 2010, Jefferies, Morgan Stanley and Bank of America Merrill Lynch were appointed to arrange the IPO, which may value the company at between €400-500 million. Investcorp bought a majority stake in the online payments group for €105 million in 2007. In 2009, the Bahrain-based investment group tried to sell the company for about €400 million, but could not find a buyer.
