Financial services provider, State Street, has hired Maria Cantillon as global head of sales for its alternative investment solutions business. Cantillon will be based in London and report to head of sales of global services Americas, Scott FitzGerald, who she has replaced.

Cantillon will manage a team of 15 covering positions in North America, Europe and the Asia Pacific region. Previously, she served as head of alternative investment managers and a member of the executive committee at BNP Paribas Securities Services.
