SunGard’s Protegent Social Media Surveillance has been chosen by First Allied Securities for social media surveillance. The solution will enable First Allied to set up and enforce policies relating to the use of social networks by its independent financial advisers and to reduce exposure to regulatory risks. First Allied will employ Protegent to check and archive advisers’ social networking activity and quickly identify content that might be considered a breach of internal or regulatory policies. The SunGard solution offers end-to-end social media policy enforcement that assists firms in developing and administering policies, training and educating employees and managing regulatory compliance obligations.
