BNY Mellon Launches Int’l Clearing Firm

BNY Mellon has set up a firm to clear futures and derivatives trades on behalf of institutional clients in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

BNY Mellon has set up a firm to clear futures and derivatives trades on behalf of institutional clients in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). The new Dublin headquartered firm, BNY Mellon Clearing International, will be regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland.

Tim Murphy will lead the new firm and work under Sanjay Kannambadi, CEO and global head of BNY Mellon Clearing. The new firm is planning to clear listed futures and option trades on behalf of institutional clients and provide services, including general operations, including trade innovation as well as margin and risk management.
