Investors pulled out around $2 billion from commodity exchange-traded products (ETPs) last month, according to BlackRock and ETF Securities, Reuters reports. The duo further added that investors dumped precious metals in favor of riskier assets. BlackRock reported a $4.1 billion net outflow from precious metals ETPs globally in January. ETF Securities also disclosed a $2.8 billion net outflow from precious metals in the year to February 4.
