Lerer Ventures has appointed Steve Schlafman as a principal, Private Equity Hub reports. Most recently, he served as vice president of business development (BD) for New York-based start-up Stickybits.

Previously, he also worked at The Kraft Group and The New England Patriots. The firm also appointed Eric Hippeau to the team this year from Huffington Post.
