The Lumina Foundation for Education, a private, independent foundation established in Indianapolis, is seeking to provide $7.2 million to help more Latino students graduate, Chronicle of Higher Education reports. The contribution will reinforce projects in metropolitan areas that show promise in improving the college-graduation rates of Latino students.

Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, and Tennessee are among the selected states. The project is part of Lumina’s Goal 2025 effort, which targets to increase the percentage of Americans who hold high-quality degrees and credentials to 60 percent by 2025.
