Newgate Capital Management has altered the name of its global fixed-income portfolio to total-return income. The portfolio, launched in 1988, invests in closed-end and exchange-traded funds covering all fixed-income market sectors.
According to the privately owned firm, the new name better reflects the portfolio’s mandate. Newgate provides specialized money management services covering emerging markets, fixed-income and commodity-related equity management.
