Coca-Cola is seeking to invest an additional $4 billion in China over the next three years starting from 2012.

Coca-Cola is seeking to invest an additional $4 billion in China over the next three years starting from 2012, Financial Times reports. The soft drinks company will build upon its initial investment of $3 billion, leading the company’s total investment in China to $7 billion across a five-year phase. Coca-Cola consists of about 40 factories in China, employing more than 48,000 staff-members and country sales representing nearly 7% of the company’s yearly volume. The company will aim at introducing smaller bottle sizes in the country for driving more sales.
