BlackRock has raised its stake in business lender, Triangle Capital (TCAP), Business Journal reports. The New York-based asset manager now holds 816,461 shares, for a 5.49% stake, in TCAP.

As of September 2010, four entities under the BlackRock umbrella held a combined 5.1% of the Raleigh-based company. TCAP is planning to raise over $50 million in fresh lending capital by selling more common stock.
