Emirates has appointed Citi to manage its global cash management operations in Africa, Asia and North America. The companies did not disclose the value of the deal. The solution will be executed by Citi’s Global Transactions Services. The solution will provide a combination payments technology in order to fully leverage the airline’s global launch of Oracle ERP, as well as receivables and liquidity tools tailored to operational process flows and systems. Citi already had a long term strategic partnership with Emirates, which covered strategic financing of Emirates’ expanding fleet and developing value-added consumer products.
