Mudrick Pushes Quorum to Scrap Restructuring Plan Post-CARES Funding

The distressed specialist argues Quorum Health has benefitted from the government’s Covid-19 bailout program — and is now much more valuable.

What a difference a Covid-19 bailout makes.

This, at least, is the argument being made by distressed specialist Jason Mudrick, whose Mudrick Capital Management continues to contest the reorganization of Quorum Health.

A letter Mudrick’s legal counsel sent to the hospital company’s board of directors on April 29 asserted that the company’s circumstances and financial profile have significantly improved since its April 6 restructuring agreement.
