If you own a seersucker suit, white shoes, a big hat and, say, a snakeskin belt, then I can almost guarantee you’ll be too busy over the long weekend with Easter lawn parties, croquet and hunting for eggs (that you yourself hid) to read anything. If you’re like me, however, and you don’t own that stuff...and still don’t believe that ‘short suits’ are things that men actually wear...you’ll probably have plenty of time to catch up on some reading. So, without further ado, here are some papers that I plan to read over the weekend:
- Luis H. Zamarioli has published a paper entitled “Sovereign Wealth Funds and Emerging Economies: Tools for Boosting Development and Shifting Capital Flows”. Looks good.
- Margaret Cornish has a paper out entitled “Behaviour of Chinese SOEs: Implications for Investment and Cooperation in Canada.” Could be interesting.
- I also need to read Ray Dalio’s “A Template for Understanding...How the Economic Machine Works and How it is Reflected Now.” I’ve been meaning to read this for a while.
