Fusion Capital will commit its $150 million private equity fund to small and midsize enterprises across east Africa, Reuters reports. The unit of Fusion Investments began investing the fund in March and anticipates completing the investment by the end of the year.
The Fusion African Access fund will contribute between $250,000 and $5 million to small and midsize firms across all sectors. The vehicle has invested in a housing project in Athi River, a Kenyan town.
