The corporate debt market showed a divergent trend as stocks fell three days in a row amid concerns over a possible recession, Index Universe reports. The price of SPDR Barclays Capital High Yield Bond ETF (JNK) and the IShares iBoxx $ High Yield Corporate Bond Fund (HYG) dropped on September 6 but IShares iBoxx $ Investment Grade Corporate Bond Fund (LQD) looked up.

JNK dropped 0.46 percent on September 6 to $37.86 a share and HYG 1.18 percent to $85.97 a share. The $14.6 billion LQD gained 0.66 percent to $113.35 a share. In August, LQD saw $416 million in new assets, while JNK and HYG lost $332 million and $184 million, respectively.
