Egypt’s central bank has raised $671.5 million through a sale of domestic Treasury bills (T-bills), Reuters reports. It trimmed $251.8 million from the amount it had offered.
The central bank sold $335 million of 91-day T-bills, the same amount it had offered, on behalf of the ministry. It also sold $335 million of 266-day T-bills instead of the $587.5 million it had asked for.
