Spain has raised €3.6 billion in a sale of bonds, The Wall Street Journal reports. The notes carry a coupon rate of 4.25%, and are scheduled to mature on Oct 2016 bond. Previously, the government sold five-year bond, which carry a coupon rate of 3.25%, and are due to mature on April 2016. The Spanish Treasury initially planned to sell €4 billion of bond.
