The U.S. loan delinquency rate fell to 8.83% in December, 17.9% decline from a year earlier, according to Lender Processing Services. LPS also reports that the U.S. foreclosure presale inventory rate was up 9.3% from a year ago. Florida led the nation with the highest percentage of non-current loans, while Montana had the lowest percentage.
