The SPDR Gold Physical Billion ETF attracted inflows of $870 million on August 18, Index Universe reports. The SPDR S&P 500 also witnessed interest from investors and its total assets were up 1%, or just more than $812 million, to $79.2 billion.

The iShares Russell 2000 and the SPDR Dow Jones Industrial Average Trust saw redemptions on August 18. The CurrencyShares Euro Trust lost 12% of its total assets on the day.
