Yuanta Securities Investment Trust is seeking to form a joint venture with Chinese fund management firm China Resources SZITIC Trust (CRST), Asia Asset reports. The new venture will help the Taiwan trust expand its operations in the mainland.

To be incorporated in Shenzhen, the venture will have registered capital of $31.7 million. Yuanta Securities will provide $15.33 million and CRST will contribute the remaining $15.96 million.
