Aluminium Corporation of China’s (Chalco) Hong Kong unit is looking to raise about $1.2 billion through a sale of bonds, Reuters reports. The securities will mature in 10 years. The company will use the proceeds to support overseas investments. In addition, its trading unit Chalco Trading Hong Kong will seek foreign currency loans to finance international trade and Chalco will offer guarantees worth $300 million.
