A squad of collateralized loan obligation structures at BNP Paribas in London has quit the firm and market buzz has connected them with similar roles at Citigroup. Senior structurer Orestis Millas and junior colleagues Mounir Naffi and Till Kollmar left the French firm in March. All are on gardening leave and could not be reached for comment. Neil Servis, head of the European CDOs and the structured credit syndicate at Citi in London, declined comment.
Earlier this month, Citi lost senior structurer Sandra Wong to RBS where she will head European managed CDOs. Credit officials say she will be joined by colleague Thomas Sandberg who has also quit the firm. Sandberg could not be contacted and Murray Parker, spokesman at RBS in London, declined comment.
