Morgan Stanley last week re-launched coverage of 10 electricity company stocks that were dropped earlier this year when analysts Kit Konolige and Scott Soler left the firm. Analyst Vikas Dwivedi, who recently joined Morgan Stanley with associates Rudy Tolentino and Charles Fenner from Prudential Equity Group, initiated coverage on Entergy Corp., PG&E Corp. and Consolidated Edison with a "cautious" outlook. Morgan Stanley now has eight analysts covering the energy sector. Jason Gammel is now Prudential's only energy analyst. A Morgan Stanley spokeswoman and a Prudential spokesman did not return calls by press time.
