• Bermudian reinsurer Endurance has made some changes to senior management. Susan Patschak has been promoted to executive v.p. and chief operating officer. She was previously senior vice-president of the company's property treaty unit. She is also a member of its loss reserve committee.

Christopher Schaper has been named as executive vice-president and head of reinsurance operations. Schaper was previously senior v.p. and head of the casualty treaty reinsurance group in Endurance Specialty Insurance.

Both appointments will become effective upon approval by the Bermuda Department of Immigration.

Peter Colombo, chairman of the board of Swiss reinsurer Converium, will step down at the next annual general meeting. Colombo indicated he would retire then at 2005's the annual general meeting.

Vice-chairman Georg Mehl will not stand for re-election when his term ends at the meeting. Board members George Parker and Anton Schnyder also will not stand for re-election.

Lennart Blecher, Detlev Bremkamp and Harald Wiedmann will be proposed as new members of the board.

Glenn Campbell, CFO and chief operating officer of Swiss reinsurer Glacier Re, will join the company's board of directors. Sander Mallien has resigned from the board.

Aon has appointed Olivia Dickson and Paul Manduca as non-executive directors. Dickson is a member of the determinations panel of the U.K. Pensions Regulator and a senior advisor to the Financial Services Authority, also in the U.K.

Manduca's other directorships include WM Morrison Supermarkets, Development Securities and Henderson Small Companies Investment Trust.

• U.S. broker USI Holdings has named William Sanders as president of its South Bay office in Torrance, Calif. Sanders was previously senior v.p. at Marsh.

Willis has appointed Bernard Deschamps as executive v.p. and officer director of its Montreal, Canada operation. Deschamps joins the broker from Groupe Ultima where he was president and general manager.
