Ceridian Corp. is searching for a new v.p. and national sales manager to replace Glenn Dial who left the position to head up sales efforts at Princeton Retirement Group, a recordkeeping subsidiary of Merrill Lynch.

Ceridian has tapped Jeff Chase, a regional v.p. and senior sales strategist, to fill in for Dial during the search. Merrill announced plans to acquire AMVESCAP's recordkeeping arm in April and rename the unit Princeton, drawing criticism from the ivy league university sharing the same name. Dial and Chase did not respond to calls seeking comment.
