The real estate investor HB Reavis sold the Apollo business center to German mutual fund Hannover Leasing for €100 million, the two companies announced. Hannover is one of the leading funds in its market with total assets under management worth €11.2 billion concentrated on real estate investments. The value of the transaction makes it the largest real estate deal so far in the country. The Apollo business center has an area of 43,000 sq. m., 86% of which represents business offices. Its capacity is fully utilized and rented to companies as well as public institutions. HB Reavis should continue to manage the building as a part of the agreement on the transaction. The developer also announced that it has launched the second phase in the construction of the Aupark shopping mall, which was built in 2001. The second phase of building is estimated to cost €53bn and should be completed next year. The investor stressed that it expected the expansion of the shopping space to allow the entry of new foreign retail chains on the Slovak market.
