Italian private equity firm, Synergo SGR, has held a first close of its second fund, Sinergia II. Investors in the closed end fund include pension funds, insurance companies and financial institutions. The vehicle was launched in mid-2010 with a target of €350 million. The firm has in excess of €450 million in assets under management.
