The Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) is seeking to invest an additional £320 million into emerging market equities, Reuters reports. With the move, its exposure to emerging markets will rise to 7.5% from 6.5%.

The U.K. pension fund is also expected to invest around 1.5%, or close to £500 million, in hedge funds. USS will slash its allocations to global equities from a previous 62% to 55%.
