Telkom South Africa will sell its Nigerian CDMA-technology business, Multi-Links, to Visafone Communications, Bloomberg reports. The African telephone group will receive around $52 million from the sale of the business. Pretoria-based Telkom will retain Multi-Links’ fixed-line and fiber-network operations in Nigeria. The proceeds for Telkom will be net of the existing liabilities of Multi-Links CDMA business.
