Intermec will acquire Riverside Partners’ portfolio company, Vocollect. Intermec will pay $190 million in cash for the acquisition of the voice solutions leader as per the deal, which includes the sale of Vocollect’s Supply Chain and Healthcare Systems businesses.

The transaction is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2011. Vocollect’s president and CEO, Joe Pajer, will mange Intermec’s voice solutions business after the deal has been sealed.
