Finnish mutual pension insurance company, Etera, has appointed a new asset manager, Malin Ringwall, IPE reports. Ringwall will focus on developing socially-responsible investing (SRI) policies for the firm’s €5.3 billion portfolio, which already includes funds investing in climate and renewable energy. Ringwall has previously worked with Alecta Investment Manager and Chase Robert Fleming as an analyst. Etera, which is planning to increase its focus on SRI and environment, has signed up to the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment and also joined Finland’s Green Building Council.
